The Food & Drug Administration is warning the public that a connection may be possible between use of Chantix and increased suicidal tendencies. Dental professionals have been prescribing Chantix as a smoking cessation aid since it came on the market in 2006. If this is on your patient’s medical history, be sure to communicate this news to them.
