Amazingly difficult to get the message out there and the articles into the journals. My wife (a DV nurse) and I co-wrote an article for the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association on the topic as well. The cause can not be trumpeted enough. Remind all you're readers that they are already seeing these patient (even if they don't know it) but have to ask the questions and look for the signs. I now ask all of my female TMJ and trauma patients about it. Excellent job. Amazingly difficult to get the message out there and the articles into the journals.
