Interestingly the term "lead poisoning" has been thrown around ad nauseum when there was absolutely no lead poisoning whatsoever. Lead poisoning was not the clinical diagnosis. In fact there was no clinical diagnosis. Check your facts.

Many domestic and otherwise, crowns have some lead content which is a materials issues, not where they were crafted.

There is no clinically proven issue with either as far as lead content. However there have been plenty of problems associated with Mercury.

The first thing you should do is ask your dentist about the material used. There are also independent labs that can test your bridgework but keep in mind that it will need to be removed and remade at extra expense.

I hope you are able to find answers soon!

I have been having alot of symptoms that say I may have lead poisoning bridges and tooth work in my mouth. I started with the mood swings, memory lost and eventually seizures. Now I am starting to have muscle spasm in my back, tingling in my face and hands. Can anyone tell me what to do?

[...] There is no label stamped on the dental crown or denture saying “Made in China” on it. We sometimes have little choice about choosing where our products are made that we use on a daily basis. It seems as if more than 95% of the daily products we use are made in either China, India or Mexico. This doesn’t support our manufacturing sector in the good ole USA. The products we make here in America are of the highest quality in comparison with other countries. There are stories of dental crowns or dental bridges contaminated with high levels of lead in them that were made in China.
