German Pharmaceutical Buys Curasan’s Dental Division

German pharmaceutical company Riemser Arzneimittel AG acquired the dental division of curasan AG, also a German company. The dental division is headquartered here in the states in North Carolina. curasan’s Cerasorb® and EpiGuide® have been selling like hotcakes so this makes for a good acquisition for Riemser which also sells biologic material for medicinal use. Expect to see new marketing and more continuing education at the AAP, AAOMS and AAID meeting. I’ll keep my eyes open for them at the ICOI meeting this week – I’d love to hear what they have coming up.
